Star Trek Review

I apologize for the lack of updates, So I present to you a review on the latest Star Trek film.

I recently saw the new Star Trek movie. Now take in consideration that I'm no "trekkie". I've never seen the original series, mainly due to the corny-nature of 1960 television shows. But due to the presence of Zachery Quinto in the new movie (he plays the new Spock) I forced myself to see it.

And I was impressed.
The movie was action packed and kept me tuned in for the entire two hours and some odd minutes. I did however disagree with a lot of their "astronomy" facts, for example you can not escape a black hole, not even light can do that. Yet there you are, escaping it.

The acting was okay in my opinion, but in a blockbuster film what can you expect? After doing some research on the original series and its story line I can say with some confidence that the new Star Trek film stuck close to its roots, while making some new and exciting changes.

They made these changes with the plot of a "time warp, alternative time line". When I first heard that I was skeptical, because that plot could go so wrong, so quickly. It was done tastefully, and managed to convey a sense of ease.

I recommend it to anyone who has an interest in space, or astronomy, because it gives the sense of awe. Wouldn't it be wonderful if humans managed to escape our home? This movie gives us all a glimmer of that future.

Thanks
-Sean

PS: Zachery Quinto is very sexy. Just thought you should know.
